Re-Elect Tina Lotz for Seneca County Clerk

Tuesday, November 3rd at the Polls or by Absentee Ballot/Early Voting

A Message from Tina...

I’m so happy to be running for re-election this November as your Seneca County Clerk. For nearly 25 years I’ve strived to be a “working county clerk” meaning if you walk into our office, you’ll likely see me standing behind the counter to greet you. We’ve put the Seneca County taxpayer first in all we do by maintaining some of the lowest recording fees in our area, operating with a bare minimum staff, and by extending office hours in the Dept. Of Motor Vehicles. With the office undergoing major changes in how Seneca County residents access county records due to the Covid pandemic, continuity in the office is more important than ever. I’m excited to continue as your county clerk and ask for your vote in November!

About Tina

Tina Lotz grew up in Seneca Falls and has lived here her entire life. She is married and has two children, Timothy Lotz and Erica Lotz, both living in Seneca Falls. She has 3 grandchildren with a 4th due in January.

Tina started working right out of high school for Bill Cram Inc as the dealership’s title clerk.  After working 10 years at Bill Cram, she left to work in the Department of Motor Vehicles and eventually transferred into the county clerks office. Tina successfully ran for election to be your Seneca County Clerk in 1996.

Tina is proud of the the changes that she has made in both the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and in the County Clerk’s office. There are many laws and regulations that she has to follow in both offices, but it is a challenge that she loves. For example, during the Covid-19 pandemic when the County Clerk’s office had to close, Tina was successful in getting the county records online for the public in just 3-1/2 months.  This was a massive undertaking that only an experienced and dedicated clerk like Tina could have completed in such a short time.  Tina has also launched a project to start e-recording in the near future, as well as to continue to back scan documents so more records can be accessed online.

For nearly 25 years Tina has been driven to make county business easier, faster, and less expensive.  With your vote on November 3rd she can continue to serve our great residents with a helpful smile.
